Experienced Bookkeeper

Are you a detail-driven, highly organized Bookkeeper with a passion for numbers and a deep understanding of the architectural or construction industry? We're looking for a seasoned professional to join our dynamic team at a growing NYC-based firm specializing in architecture, FISP, and faade restoration. What You'll Do:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks and BQE Core
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger, A/P, A/R, payroll, and project billing
• Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure accurate job costing
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
• Create and manage detailed project and financial reports directly within BQE Core for internal and external stakeholders
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
• Train and mentor a junior financial associate to support administrative and bookkeeping functions
• Work closely with the principals and administrative team to streamline processes, optimize BQE reporting capabilities, and support strategic decision-making

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years of professional bookkeeping experience (preferably in architecture, engineering, or construction)
• Advanced proficiency in BQE Coreespecially for reporting and project tracking
• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
• NYC-based candidates only
• Highly organized, deadline-oriented, and comfortable working independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
